AppLovin now brings in 19% of One Kings Lane’s new customers, at a higher ROAS than both Meta and Google.
One Kings Lane sells premium home décor and furniture. These are considered purchases, with higher prices and more thought behind every order. Meta and Google were its acquisition channels, and the team was looking for a new place to find customers.
The common assumption is that ads inside mobile games only sell cheap, impulse products. One Kings Lane was a real test of that. AppLovin’s core audience, women 30 to 45 who make most of the household’s buying decisions, is exactly who furnishes and decorates a home. And 35 seconds of full-screen attention is enough to show a room, not just a product.
We set up the account, pixel, catalog and third-party attribution so results could be measured against One Kings Lane’s own data. The creative was built for AppLovin from the ground up, designed to sell a look and a space, with end cards and product screens that carry shoppers straight to the pieces in it.
We launched broad, let the algorithm learn, then scaled spend in controlled steps. Bids, budgets and goals were managed daily, with fresh creative going in every week to keep performance steady as spend grew.

“We were skeptical a mobile-game ad could sell home décor. Arc proved us wrong fast. AppLovin is now a real part of how we find new customers, and we’re excited to keep scaling it together.”
